§ 19-4. Criteria for owners to obtain permit.

For the purpose of this Code, an owner physically doing the work themselves on the residential property that they occupy, may be issued a permit upon the code official's satisfaction that the owner is competent to perform the work for which the permit is requested and completion of an electrical affidavit. Any individual other than the owner doing the work on the residential property is considered a contractor and shall meet the requirements of a contractor as set forth herein.
