§ 19-18. Same—Used as guarantee; nonallowable deductions.

Meter deposits shall be used as a guarantee for payment of all accounts justly due and for the same return of the meter; provided, that no deductions shall be made from the amount deposited for any loss due to wear and tear or destruction of the meter by electric current or by fire from any cause.
