§ 2-32. Reimbursement of council- members' travel expenses.

The council president shall be authorized to approve or disapprove all travel outside of the city for which reimbursement will be sought for councilmembers. All requests shall be made in writing and shall state the benefits of such travel to the city. Authorization or denial of all requests shall be in writing. Any request which is denied may be appealed to the full council at a regular meeting thereof. This section shall not cover funds appropriated by state law to each councilmember for in-city expenses.
