§ 19-13. Electrical contractors.

  • (a)

    "Electrical contractor" defined. The words "electrical contractor," as used in this chapter, shall include any person doing any electrical construction, installing any electrical wiring or apparatus for electric lights, heat or power or altering, changing or repairing any electrical wiring or apparatus but shall not include a workman employed by any such electrical contractor when such work is done under the personal supervision of such electrical contractor.

    (b)

    Improper use of contractor's name. No licensed contractor shall allow his name to be improperly used by any person, directly or indirectly, either for the purpose of obtaining a permit or to do any work under his license.
