§ 1-6. Seal—Generally.

The corporate seal of the city shall be the same as that which is used by the municipal corporation styled "Seal of the City of Mobile, Alabama," and which is now in use by the city.

The city seal shall not in any way be redrawn, re-proportioned, or altered in any manner without the approval and consent of the council.

The seal shall not be reproduced or used in any manner by any person, firm, organization, or entity, whether for commercial, promotional, private, or other use, without the prior written approval and consent of the city clerk, who is the official keeper of the seal and the only authority to grant permission for use or reproduction of the seal.
